About Us

Our History

RailCar Concepts was established in 2010. We saw there was a need to be involved with Toyota. We were the company they called to get it quick. We knew the Toyota system and how to navigate. We started in West Virginia doing fabrication and consulting. We started buying small items such as trash cans and shop ticket holders for $20.00. The need and the relationship grew with Toyota. We have been blessed to grow into the company we are today.

Railcar Concepts is now a woman-owned company. We have expanded into Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Indiana, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Many Railcar Concepts employees are retired from Toyota. We take on much larger projects now, including precision machining, CMG, and logistics roles.

Our Team

Ellisha Hale-Canter

Owner & sales

Ellisha has been involved with her dad's work, and Toyota, since high school. RailCar Concepts has changed and grown significantly over the years, however, Ellisha and her dad still have not forgotten where they came from. They will still do pretty much anything that Toyota needs, including buying those $20.00 trash cans on a Saturday and rush delivering them. Ellisha is a Marshall University graduate.

Jerry Hale

founder & sales

Jerry Hale was a retired millwright and project manager at TMMV for commercial contracting. He was there when they started the plant in 1996. After retiring, there was a need for experience and consulting, and at the time, major fabrication. It was basically need-it-right-now projects and drive-through-the-night jobs.

Jack Park

Outside Sales- North Carolina

Jack has been with RCC since May of 2024. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with an Economics and Business Degree. He is located at the Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant in Liberty, North Carolina. Jack strives to meet new people and assist in anyway possible every day.
